SD60 Emergency Preparedness – Parent Guide

This document outlines the District’s overall response in emergencies including the procedures that take place in the event of an emergency evacuation.

Emergency Preparedness Guide

School District 60 has added an updated emergency preparedness guide for parents and guardians on our website at https://www.prn.bc.ca/safety/plans-info/emergency-preparedness/ . These are general guidelines for an all-hazards approach for the district and each school site will have specific plans. The guide provides definitions, procedures, and information on reunification if we have an emergency evacuation. The site also has links to resources that families can use at home for their own emergency planning.
