SD60 Emergency Response Plan

Please find attached the SD60 Emergency Response Plan.  This plan outlines the District’s response to an emergency (wildfire or otherwise) and the steps we will be following in the event of an evacuation. Bert Bowes Middle School will continue to send out school-wide email to all parents when the District staff updates our office. Further, the Board Office will continue to update parents on the District webpage (, and using social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) should things change and our school closes.

Just a reminder if your child/children are absent from school during the time of an emergency, we ask that you please update our office (250-785-6717) so we can keep an accurate count of those in attendance.  Thank you for you help with this.
