Good afternoon Bert Bowes Families,

With the Elementary Track & Field Event happening here at Bert Bowes tomorrow (Friday, June 5th), we would like to remind everyone that Friday remains a regular instructional day for our students. We need your help to keep everyone safe and minimize disruptions to learning.

If your child plans to head outside to watch the events with you, please note the following:

Signing Out & In: If your child is leaving class to watch the events, please call the office or send us an email ahead of time to sign them out to attend the event with you. The elementary school that is hosting the event will have lots of people to manage and we need to ensure that our BBMS students who are watching and cheering on their siblings/relatives are not adding any extra chaos on that already busy day!.

Please remember that only a parent or guardian listed in MyEd can authorize a student to leave class.

We ask that students do NOT go back and forth between the field and class throughout the day. Please plan for just one sign-out period.

Full-Day Absence: If your child will be missing the entire day for any reason please email or phone the office to let us know.
