Hello,
UBC has initiated a research project focused on parent/ caregiver experiences accessing autism services and supports in rural, remote, and small-town communities. UBC’s research project would like to learn about the costs and experiences of rural families who must leave their communities to access assessment and/ or support services.
The attached poster has a QR code to scan and answer the survey questions.
It takes 15 – 30 minutes to complete, and is for parents/ guardians of children with autism, or who are seeking an autism assessment.
Currently, there is no BC-specific information on out-of-pocket costs or experiences. The UBC research team would like to use the data findings to understand the costs of care for rural families.
