BBMS Disability Awareness Day

A big congratulations to grade 9 BBMS student, Trinitey Douglas. Trinitey’s interactive day promoting disability awareness and engaging keynote speaker Ward Foley was a huge success. All students attended an assembly in the morning and participated in a variety of stations throughout the day. Students wore t-shirts and supported Triniety with assisting throughout the day and promoting conversations around disabilities and exceptionalities. Trinitey has worked with BBMS teachers, Megan Inglis and Rheanna Morris and SD 60 physiotherapist Lisa Boda to make this day a success. Thank-you all for your hard work.  A link is provided more with more information on Mr. Foley.

“We are not given a good life or a bad life. We are given life.

And it’s up to us to make it good or bad.”

BBMS Students on the Ross H MacLean Flyers Need Your Votes!

BBMS is proud of Mason Floriant and Grayden Alexander and their contributions to a better community!  Both students are members of the Ross H MacLean Flyers hockey team that have recently been named finalists for the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup.  Ten teams from across the country have been selected.

Help our two athletes and the entire team by viewing their video.  Each view between Monday, January 15th and Sunday, January 28th counts as a vote.  The three Finalists, based on views, will be announced on Thursday, February 1st.

Please don’t wrap anything as they prefer to leave it for the parents to do. You can bring any donated items to the Art room.
