Victoria Platzer and Jesse Plamondon recently participated in the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Both Grade 9 students were very successful with their projects. Jesse Plamondon won a Western University Scholarship – Bronze Medal and an Excellence Award – Intermediate Bronze Medal. Jesse’s project was titled Breathable Rock: A Novel Approach to Isolating Oxygen in CaSO4 H2O for on Mars. Victoria Platzer won a Western University Scholarship – Silver Medal and an Excellence Award – Intermediate Silver Medal. Victoria’s project was titled Beyond the Waste.
